- Zabraks: Were a near-human carnivorous species native to the planet Iridonia. The species had distinctive horns atop their heads and two hearts. Although most male Zabraks lived on Iridonia, some lived on Dathomir under the rule of the Nightsisters.
Zabraks were considered to be proud, self-determined, and even arrogant to some, yet they nevertheless were one of the most independent species in the galaxy.

- Chiss: Were a blue-skinned, near-human sentient species that possessed red eyes and dark blue hair.
The Chiss hailed from Csilla, a planet located in the so-called Unknown Regions of the galaxy. During the Imperial Era, they were ruled by a government known as the Chiss Ascendancy.

- Togrutas: Were a carnivorous humanoid species from the planet Shili. The species exhibited head-tails which were similar to those of Twi'leks. Unlike Twi'leks, a Togruta's Head tails are part of their Montral and ran parallel to the head as opposed to behind, making it appear as though they were wearing a headdress. Togruta had a strong sense of unity and togetherness and were known for their habit of not wearing shoes; they believed that the land was spiritually connected to them, and wearing shoes cut themselves from a bond with the land.

- Iktotchis: Were a species that originated on the harsh, windy moon of Iktotch, which orbited around the planet Iktotchon in the Expansion Region. Iktotchi did not have hair, but rather they had a very resistant skin which protected them from the violent winds which crossed the satellite. The psychological abilities of the species should also be noted. Iktotchi had a gift of precognition (direct knowledge or perception of the future) which was relatively effective on their native world, but whose capacities became very limited as soon as they moved away from the planet. In addition, Iktotchi had powerful telepathic abilities. In spite of their rather unfriendly appearance, Iktotchi were sensitive beings who masked their deeper emotions under an appearance of stoicism.

- Trandoshans: Also known as T'Doshok in Dosh, were large, bipedal reptilian humanoids from the planet of Trandosha (or Dosha). They had sensitive eyes that could see into the infrared range and the ability to regenerate lost limbs—albeit slowly—and were anatomically built heavier and stronger than most humanoids, including Humans. They would also periodically shed their skin.

- Bothans: were furry mammalian anthropoids, about 1.5 meters tall. Hailing from Bothawui and several colonies, Bothans differed in facial appearance and body structure with canine, feline, and equine features. They were known for being master politicians and spies, craving intrigue and subterfuge.

- Siths: The Sith , known alternatively as Red Sith or Sith Pureblood, were a species of red-skinned humanoids that originated on the world of Korriban, before eventually resettling on the ice-world of Ziost. Also distinct for their bone spurs, facial tentacles, and genetic predispositions toward both left-handedness and the dark side of the Force, the Sith species coalesced into an empire ruled first by kings and later by Dark Lords.

-Yuuzhang Vong: The Yuuzhang Vong, also called the Chosen Race known to the Chiss and Ferroans as the Far Outsiders, are native to outside the know galaxy in Star Wars. A typical Yuuzhan Vong resembled a Human in form, though they were taller and heavier than the average Human and had less hair on their heads. The Yuuzhan Vong were religious zealots, who viewed mechanical technology as blasphemy. Their technological innovations were genetically engineered and purely organic.

- Devaronians: Were a horned humanoid species from the world of Devaron in the Colonies, a planet of low mountains and deep valleys linked by thousands of rivers. A bipedal mammalian species, Devaronians evolved in the dense jungles of Devaron as a hunter-gather species. Their bodies were denser than most humanoids' and as a result they were heavier than their appearance would tend to indicate.
First devising the tumble hyperdrive around 27,000 BBY, Devaronians were one of the first species in the galaxy to develop interstellar travel.

- Sullustan: Were a species of Near-Humans from Sullust. As skilled pilots and navigators, Sullustans, also known as Bomewrights, were common sights for spacers and at busy spaceports. The Sullustans played an important role in the Galactic Civil War and were charter members of the New Republic. Notable members of the species include Nien Nunb, Ten Numb and Dllr Nep.
