My attempt at a Top 10 girl groups of the decade list (2010s) (1 Viewer)

Since no one can agree on generations starting and stopping point I think a list for a decade is a better way of ranking things. And yes this also complicates things a bit since a lot can change in ten years. The popularity of kpop in 2011 compared to 2019 is night and day. So this is my first draft of the list and you all can chime in and say what you would change.

Who should not be here? Who did I forget? Who should be rotated?

Just based on my personal knowledge (which I admit is far from perfect) of overall achievements and impact in the industry.

I like seeing RV there even tho they're obviously number 1

Personally I'd swap T-ara and Sistar but it still looks good

as a newer fan, its hard for Moguri to judge this well I would think you at least have all the popular groups in, I don't know how groups like MIss A or Wonder Girls would rank compared to the other lower ranking groups on the list

Hard agree on no.1, no comments on 2-9.

Way to show objectivity DrewB on no.10(i rlly cant rank f(x) cause i hv no objectivity when it comes to krystal in f(x)-its complicated by my affection for jungsis clouds all my judgement/ranking ability LOL(maybe same happened for u drewB, kinda expected u to rank em higher or no.1, tho)

Wonder Girls peaked around 2008/2009. They were still very popular but not enough to make top 10 of the 2010s. They would be there for sure in a 00s list.

Probably f(x).

I don't think they made as big of an impact as the rest of the groups on the list.

However, I also know the least about them, so take that as you will.
