if only he was here to see this... that he's the most biased in Shinee. Maybe then he wouldn't have done it. I never got to really know him bc he died just when I was starting to get into K-pop

Based on the stuff he left behind it didn’t seem to be related to that. I know it’s easy to think that in cases like these being popular or charting well would be the easiest fix, but it’s just not always the case. Fame and being liked don’t fix everything.
