my biggest problem is that the chorus isn't good.

the verses are godly, like cmon if you weren't shaking your ass while listening to these verses then are you actually a good person? probably not.

but the chorus is just... for me at least... bad. what is this 2017? I thought we were done with the tropical house trend and left it in 2018? also that dance break and rap was out of place. I just don't like it how they didn't even try to make a vocal bridge and instead replaced it with an out of place rap and a dance break. do you guys know how good a vocal-heavy bridge on this song would sound? imagining it now makes me get excited.

I get that dahyun and chaeyoung are rappers but this song doesn't need a rap in my opinion. we need to start normalizing kpop songs without raps. also, the mv isn't what I was expecting. cmon jyp reach a little into your purse and give these girls an mv with a big BUDGET.

I know that I sound kinda harsh but I was kinda looking forward to this comeback after hearing the teaser. but ill give them one thing the bsides were definitely good. choreo was also really good.

I can understand the appeal to it but I just think that it was kinda misplaced? like the verses don't sound like its gonna lead up to the chorus in any way. tbh if they added some vocals over the chorus then I think i would like it more but I'm kinda sick of tropical house drops after the influx that we got of it in 2017/2018

Well i guess it could be led better the chorus itself is pretty catchy and memorable for me

Twice needs to let go of the repetitive, easily catchy choruses. Sometimes it works but sometimes it's just really out of place. And these last few comebacks, really haven't been feeling Chaeng or Dahyun's raps, like at all.

Rap in everything is just the new norm now and I don't see it changing when not only Gfriend and Apink are the only ones without rap but Nonstop is the biggest gg song of the year so far and it had a lot of rap.

I'm the opposite, they have been my 3 fav Twice raps back to back (ok, not top 3, but 2nd to 4th coz Likey 1st). Fancy rap break was great, Feel Special had that iconic Dubu ass drop and now this lmao.
I think the dance and rap break actually elevate More & more for me, but I agree about the chorus. Compared to the best Twice choruses, it felt kinda off.

I feel as though chaeyoung is the only one who can actually rap. and even then the company essentially gives her the same rap with the same flow each comeback. dahyun seems to be one of those cases where the company needed another rapper and just gave it to who they thought was the weakest vocalist. dahyun actually has a pretty voice I think that they could utilize her vocals more.

but I agree when it comes to the choruses, I think the last song that I really enjoyed was fancy. feel special was good, definitely not bad but i think it didnt age well for me.

Dahyun has a really pretty voice and I don't understand why she's pushed as a vocalist the least, even behind Chaeyoung and Momo who honestly fit rapping more than they do singing

i like the rap parts even though i'm also not the biggest fan of rapping in k-pop, or rap in general. but i agreed about the chorus. now i love the whole song because it has grown on me a lot, but the first time i listened to it and the chorus came on i was like "so.... that's it?"
