I love this song so much. It has good verses, chorus, ending, everything one can ask for in a song tbh.

AIIYL (9.5/10)
Another amazing song. I can't believe I used to think it as meh. The rap parts do vary on the cringe meter but that the only part of the song that isn't perfect tbh.

PWF (9.5/10)
Another bright and beautiful sounding song. It's so danceable and I love the instrumental especially.

Kill This Love (9/10)
I'm ngl the one who sings first, I don't like her part. Thats the only part I don't like. The rest is good, has a great drop, and is a powerful song which I like.

Stay (8/10)
A rare ballad that I like. It's just to peaceful and suit their voices well.

Lovesick Girls (8/10)
It's a good song, catchy, and has memorable parts.

Duu x4 (7/10)
I used to hate this song tbh, but it grew on me. I especially always liked the instrumental at the very beginning, same with AIIYL.

Whistle (7/10)
It's a bit bare bones for me imo, but otherwise it's good. Definitely has it's bright moments.

Shut Down (7/10)
Some parts took getting used to (ie the Blackpink in your area part) but it grew on me. Just not as much as most of their songs.

Ice Cream (5/10)
Not up to their usual standard. It's just kind of boring to me.

Pink Venom (2/10)
Few if any redeeming parts tbh.

HYLT (2/10)
I wasn't sure what to rate it, I chose 2 because I do like the very beginning of the ending portion but I don't like the rest of the song at all.

This is a fun question, and I’ve been thinking about it some more, so here’s mine (I hope you don’t mind):

1. Lovesick Girls
I’m a blink since debut, but this was by far my favourite era. Loved the song, the stages, the outfits, the music video, everything!

2. Whistle
The song that made me a blink. “Whistle like a missile” is still iconic, and the sultry vibe has let this song age like fine wine. It sounds fresh and exciting 6/7 years later, which is an incredible feat.

3. Pink Venom
This one ranks high because it’s new, but I also love the ear-worm chorus and the choreo.

4. How You Like That
This and Pink Venom follow the same formula, and I think this one is probably the better of the two, but as mentioned, Pink Venom is feeling a little fresher right now. Still love this track though!

5. Play With Fire
Before Lovesick Girls era, I used to cite this as my fav comeback. It sounds a little bit dated now which makes me sad!

6. As If It’s Your Last
As with PWF, another iconic song that hasn’t aged as well as I would have hoped. It’s still a bop though.

7. Shut Down
I like this song, but it came out too quickly after Pink Venom, and just isn’t as good! It feels like this song is lacking a bit of substance, but it’s still catchy all the same.

8. Kill This Love
I really disliked this song when it came out, but it actually grew on me a lot later. On reflection though it’s not ranking too high. At this point in the list there are many b-sides I would rank higher than these songs, like Pretty Savage for example.

9. DDU-DU DDU-DU
During this era I preferred Forever Young.

10. Boombayah
While there are lots of fun lines in this one, this song lost out to Whistle at the time and now sounds VERY dated.

11. Stay
I enjoyed it at the time, it’s just a little dull to listen to now. I would love for Blackpink to make a ballad as timeless as Lonely by 2NE1. I’m not sure we’ll ever see it though.

12. Ice Cream
Urrgh. Alongside the collab with Cardi B, the 2 worst songs in their entire Discography imo.
