My dilemma (2 Viewers)

I was planning on making something with banana leaves and ordered some online. I was told they would arrive October 6-10. I planned to get ingredients for that dish in a week or two because I want to use the banana leaves as soon as they arrive for freshness reasons. Turns out they’re arriving today, I found that out yesterday.

I don’t have certain ingredients atm for it. I could go to the store but it seems a bit silly because we just went to the store a few days ago and have a bit over a weeks worth of food, so I’d be going just for those few things I’m missing. I’ll even be passing right by the store, but on a time crunch so I won’t be able to stop there. I guess Ill wait for them to arrive just to check that they’re good and if so maybe go to the store. I don’t know, I haven’t fully decided yet.

Not even counting the actual shopping time, thats even more!

perhaps.....but think about all the food you could've cooked too!!

You could feed all of us KS stans for a couple of weeks!!

It is admittedly a lot of food that I'm making, the recipe calls for a massive 5-7lb chunk of pork shoulder. But I'll probably use less, I'll see what the store has

Are they fresh or frozen? I've not seen any fresh banana leaves around here.
