Thank you friends. I went and laid down with her after posting, and she eventually calmed down enough to mostly sleep through the night.

She's still uncomfortable this morning, but is less whiny, so that's a good thing. She has to have a cone on her for the next two weeks, and then can get the staples removed from where they removed the tumor. (It's non-cancerous, thankfully, but it was splitting open and a risk of infection, so it had to go.)
