for the past 3 days, they havn't managed to stay at a screen for longer than a few hours before feeling horrible tired and just begging me to rest, even after resting, they dont feel great until I've slept

You should get them checked my eyes used to hurt a lot before I got my glasses

I see fine, nothings blurred, my eyes just hate the light

yeah but thats expensive and we dont go to doctors unless its something actually serious sounding

Dry eyes because of too much screen time? Do the symptoms get better when you take a break from the screen? Then you could try those eye drops that contact lens wearer use (Re-Wetting Drops). If the symptoms don't go away or even get worse, visit a doctor.
