My feelings after Universe League’s Boys Never Die performance (1 Viewer)

This happened a bit ago but saw nobody mention it so I wanted to becuase it just irks me. There’s a survival show called Universe League where they’re creating a new boy group. For one of the missions they chose TripleS’ Girls Never Die. Okay questionable, but maybe they can make it work. No, they had to change the lyrics to “boys never die”. That takes away from the whole point of the song; it is supposed to be female empowerment. Even if they wanted a similar song, they could have picked a different one by the same producer. By changing the lyrics they are completely changing the meaning of the song. I don’t even blame the trainees themselves, just a poor decision by whoever okayed it. And the performance itself was mediocre at best. Woongki was literally carrying his team (is this boys planet all over again?).
