Nothing yet. They have some overseas stuff scheduled iirc now. So I’m not really expecting something super soonish, but as a jyp group (that’s not named xdinary heroes or day6…) jyp puts them to work so I personally don’t think we’ll have to wait that long. I think a May or June comeback would be a comfortable spot perhaps.

I am expecting their first japanese album to come out first since they announced it a month ago but they haven’t really dropped many teasers or details since that announcement so that is a bit more murky.

Realistically Day6 have had time periods where they released so many albums/singles also in a year (more than any JYP group I would think). So with them it's not a case of always having few releases.

It wasn't recent, it was in 2018. Recently yeah less releases but given that they're almost all in the military and from my understanding can't legally do any promos I get why for the past 2 years they haven't had releases.

Yeah itzy has to be next in line anyways since nmixx and twice just came back and skz and xh have confirmed comebacks happening too lol

there’s that but day6 also has members in the military… 3 of them. And Jae left jyp ent so yeah that just leaves 1 member left iirc. Honestly though, from a business perspective, jyp probably doesn’t think they can make as much money as their idol groups and doesn’t prioritize them. This doesn’t necessarily apply to like sheer music releases but also like you know, promo and stuff. There is truth in that but that never excuses lack of effort. At least xh is getting more regularish comebacks now and are no longer on hiatus. Hopefully they keep that pace.

Even then, like you've said, with one member gone and 3 in the military it's hard to imagine what recent activities you can really have. If you're talking 2018-2020 I'm not super familiar with their activities then so I can't speak on that.

Tbf I’m not that familiar back then either. I’m more familiar with xh as a more casual fan of them. I do know myday have issues with how jyp treated and promoted day6 however. Hopefully when the members get back together, things will improve.

Releasing music regularly is one thing, a very important thing, but good promo and getting them out there is another. To me, xh feels like player 2 in comparison to their brother and sister groups sometimes…
