And I feel weird about it, and weird for feeling weird about it!
The owner sends a monthly newsletter and announced that she was discontinuing all yoga classes, because she could keep expanding, but mostly, she wants to work less. Which fine, legit on its own.
But she employs 8 other yoga teachers (that I'm personally aware of, there are some classes at times I can never attend, IDK who teaches those), and so I don't really get why she doesn't just stop teaching the one she leads on Saturdays, but allow her teachers to keep teaching their classes? Unless it's also a way for her to cut costs on something she's also lost interest in, since she's effectively announcing that all of them will no longer be employed at her studio.
And just personally, having a weekly yoga class to stretch out and work on flexibility, mobility, and stability makes all my other workouts so much easier throughout the week. So I'm annoyed I'm going to have to get a separate gym membership and drive to the second closest gym to switch to their yoga classes.
It's a minor annoyance in the grand scheme of things, but I'm also just like... but why tho?
