My hair is shit and 2026 is the year I'm gonna try to fix it (1 Viewer)

Currently my hair is hip length but looks bronze + dry, easily breaks/falls out, and almost every strand has a split end somewhere on it, my uncle says it looks like hay in the sun now lets talk of how tf it got into such terrible shape

So all my life, my uncle didn't know anything about hair and left me to handle combing and oiling it daily which went terribly, it was never regular if at all

In 2020, I didn't comb it for days and it turned into a tangled ball at the back and we cut it to my chin

It grew past the length it was at back then by now but since 2021 I started having signs of a future burnout and began procrastinating so despite WANTING to care for my hair, I barely managed to not let it not get tangled again I was meant to braid it but I never did cuz thats way too much work so basically I was growing my hair, not even combing it daily, rarely oiling it, and for 6 or more months each year, I'm at my grandmas place where I have to go around outside in the blazing hot summer sun of India last year was my worst year in terms of mental health as the burnout finally came so I definitely didn't gaf about my hair, I was happy if I brushed my teeth in the mornings last year was also one of the WORST summers there and we spent 5 months there, my hair had already started to get split ends a while before and then I put it through all that and now it will be summer again soon.

Since I have the energy now, I want to finally give my hair some much needed attention since all I did last year was complain of how awful my hair felt in the heat...we're cutting it anyway they say split ends can't be fixed and its dry and ugly so might as well get rid of all thatI plan to cut it till its a bit below the shoulders, almost all the split ends will be gone with that

And to make sure that doesn't happen yet again, I told my uncle and we're getting conditioner + serum + I will be oiling it properly and on time now

I always envied that others could get such soft black hair, maybe I will be able to get it in some months Hair model Harmony

OOO I should tell Michael Clifford (5SOS' guitarist) that bc I'm ps his hair is fried from dyeing it so much lol

I have hair so fine it feels like Barbie hair. 2026 will be the year I fix that, too!
