this is absolutely evil and inhumane at this point. i swear kpop companies don't know the difference between diet and literal starvation which is exactly what we can call what they did to yves. how do they even expect trainees to practice when they are only given one apple to eat? there should be a special place in hell for this company and everyone who's trying to defend such behaviours (though i luckily haven't seen anyone do this here yet)

Even lot of current and former idols have talked how companies have no idea what is healthy diet they just tell u lose weight no matter how. And the measuring ur weight on scale sometimes daily and being shamed for the number is messed up too. No wonder half of the idols seem to have eating disorder.

poor yves, i can't imagine what she goes through. what will it take for them to stop this madness ??

someone dying ? i think companies truly don't realize just how dangerous this is

not to mention that this literally creates eating disorders that can be dramatically life-altering. it's toxic that there are so many fans influenced by this who aspire to look like those idols and thus try emulating their diets as well.

This seriously is one of the many things wrong with the industry, as you said companies really need to get checked on whats the difference between dieting and starvation, they want their idols to perform well after all and not faint on stage

This is so awful! We all love K-pop from the outside, but from the inside it is a very dark place.
I'm glad that Happyface Entertainment let's the girls eat almost anything but I don't believe it was always like that and they weren't a very good company back then, especially with Dal Shabet and former Dreamcatcher group Minx.
Companies need to learn that the way they make their idols diet and how they treat their idols is not good for everyone involved.

I feel like many Idols will have serious health problems later

Tats kinda dispiriting, eating so little to lose weight to stay in the company is inhumane. I hope this nvr happens again, n they get/hv nutritionists to help plan a proper diet; but im doubtful.
