my honest opinion about BTS' new album (1 Viewer)

my opinion is that I don't really like it, at least not on the first listen. It doesn't exactly suck per se, but it's very different from their other releases. Maybe after I listen to it again, I'll get used to the sound, but idk...

I was willing to give the whole album a shot, as a former ARMY. But it was not my style at all. I did not like a single song, even a tiny bit. People who have been saying that the beginning reminds them on Dark&Wild… I would have to strongly disagree beccause Dark&Wild was actually good.

Both me and mother agree that it wasn't really our thing especially after watching the comeback show We've decided to adopt out our Tampa tickets when resale becomes available so hopefully an army who likes the new sound can go

I'm obsessed with it idk maybe because I'm a late army as I was Agust d fan before i got into BTS but I love it especially like animals and normal

Swim has grew on me and body to body and fyp I liked on first listen too

Though I'm probably here for there alternative songs over diamite and butter (I hated those songs)😭😭

As a VERY old Army I dislike it a lot because its also nothing like their old sound, but its just a bunch of chaos in one album, everything sounds different which is normal for most kpop releases, but not the good kind of different, and Into the sun was an IMMEDIATE skip for me and my grandma when we heard It.
I kind of like body to body and one of the other songs but its NOT my type of album, my grandma however is the biggest BTS Glazer so she preordered the Vinyl and it comes in April, she said they're all good minus Into the sun, but the way people have been gassing this album up is obviously gonna happen since its BTS but I will not willingly be listening to this, I also have a feeling that this album wont be as big as their past releases, but Most ARMY are ready to glaze anything they come out with so I cant be for sure. I know I'm thinking about sending mine back or giving it away when it gets here :(( I had high hopes for this album, i was highly disappointed, their old sound was also very foolproof because it wasn't any kiddy crush songs either but that's my take on Arirang I do hope sm1 will enjoy it though, my grandma is still going to see them though she bought the new army bomb and everything

as you listen to it more it gets better the first time its just like “wow whats this” beacuse they’ve never done this experimenting before which its about time the experiment

It is about time they experiment though its about time they found a new sound and stuff for the group and style beacuse they did say that from here and the future they’ll be showing us there mature side back then it wasn’t there mature side it was still there fun side and they did not think they all would go on so they did not treat It like they would be here for a long time so they had fun but from now on they will be more serious about the music and stuff and they have full creative control now which means the company can’t push them to do something.

I will say I really wanted to like it, since it came out ive tried to force myself to listen to it for days at a time </3 ive probably heard it about 50 times by now/srs i think some of the songs are okay but not my kind of style
