I've given the kind of idols and groups I'm attracted to a lot of thought lately. I was not surprised by my conclusions but it did highlight the riddle that I am. I am not a happy upbeat person. I joke a lot, yes, but I don't do that nearly as much out in the real world. I'm social only so much as required not to be considered "antisocial". I get a long with co-workers really well for the most part. I think if my coworkers saw the music I like there would be a lot of WTF?! I don't hide the MV's I watch at in the break room and I also don't censor what I watch out of fear of judgment but I also don't think anyone pays attention. If you were to show a picture of me to someone and tell them my basic's (welder, machinist, draftsman, blacksmith, writer, etc) there's no way they would ever choose K-Pop as my music of choice, let alone my top 3 being StayC, Apink, Weeekly. They'd probably go with rock or country (which I both like). In K-Pop I'm all about happy fun tunes. I think without those happy fun tunes I'd be a miserable human being... Some of you might think that anyways.
This is going to seem morbid but I sometimes think about my funeral and how I'd want to be presented to people. I want K-POP playing and my collection on display, my posters on the wall, etc. Which is ironic because I don't hang my kpop posters. I want people to see that side of me because that is what has brought me so much happiness. I think about the people showing up to hear Mr. Chu, playing followed by, FlipThat!, and Poppy, and now Teddy Bear and seeing the look of absolutely WTF confusion on their faces and the embarrassment on the face of my family. I've gotten more than a few chuckles out of those thoughts. So anyways, I need one more thread to get my cards! Thank you for your time.
