I think we all know by now that back in 2023 I was.....interesting
I did and still do struggle with getting to sleep bc of insomnia and it's not fun if you've experienced it. All-nighters are only fun when it's a break from an actual schedule of full restorative rest every other night.
To try and combat this I consulted my then gf/friend/a mix of both/kinda emotionally draining friend but nonetheless friend about it. The memory of it is a bit blurry but she told me something along the lines of imagining her idols cuddling her to sleep and how that helped. That's the part where one would usually think "this is strange Kriss I don't think im following you here" and I get that. But regardless of the many questionable things this girl has done I'll admit this is on side of actually kinda normal actions from her. I have a pretty vivid imagination so it wasn't hard to think of when it came time for me to get in bed. It actually helped a bit for the most part. But one day around that same time I had shared this on TikTok and got a lot of backlash for it. I was pretty young at the time and truly didn't think in hindsight that this wouldn't be something I would want to share because nothing was really wrong about it. Sure some would find it weird but this visualization thing wasnt ever sexually inappropriate but a lot of people in my comments of that post ended up interpreting it that way and got particularly upset at that aspect even when I tried to back myself up. I dont think its wrong for them to dislike it in of itself; I was upset because I felt like my intentions with doing it were misconstrued and that anger shouldn't be driven from that reason. Looking back i have mixed feelings on it leaning more towards the side of it being relatively harmless but what do you guys think
