My kitchen is part of an extended section that got added to my very old apartment building and unfortunately, there's no central heating that runs through those sections or well enough insulation.
My apartment has that extended section which happens to be my kitchen. In the winter, the kitchen is basically a fridge and the pipes can freeze over if I don't leave a tap running a little.

I forgot to do that last night and it was well below freezing. And it continues to be below freezing rn.

I have enough bottled water to last me a few days. No I am not gonna drink from my bathroom tap. There's a very distinct difference in the chlorine smell between my bathroom tap and my kitchen tap (without a filter but I choose to still put a filter on the kitchen tap).

Here's to hoping it gets fixed.
There's one other lady who has a kitchen in the extended section. I'm pretty sure she's dealing with the same fate.​

so clever lol and @Nina every wenter, without fail, the heat doesn't kick on automatically. It's something to do with the furnace in our basement, but I don't remember the technicalities of it. But I still feel your pain! This gbuilding is like 30 some years old, so
