This is something that I have noticed in the past few months and I wanted to bring this up in a thread.

What I am talking about is information leaked by sasaengs on YouTube Shorts. While this information is not confirmed as mentioned in some shorts, it does make me wary that K-Content users are posting this information and misguiding K-Pop fans of thinking this kind of information was leaked by actual stalker fans,

Also, what are the chances that an actual saesang is providing this type of "information" without any kind of condition?

That is the last thing any K-Pop fan would want to hear or see. My assumption is that these kinds of videos can attract younger and new K-Pop fans to think this kind of information is easy to get from another K-pop "fan".

I would say this, but there some saesangs who are just as dedicated to getting their idol's attention.

When it comes to idols smoking or idols hanging out (+ idols dating), this is more of the idols' personal business situation and it always comes up in some way.

I always feel like shit when I find out a really nice HQ pic of an idol I like is taken by a sasaeng especially if they're stalking them at airports or unannounced locations. I try to block them and remember who is a sasaeng so I don't accidentally promote something they did by invading an idols privacy and personal space
