yes i have been streaming one song from born pink excessively (no name to not ruin top 5 songs 🤭) but artists generally make it higher with multiple songs so it's number four for them with 12 listens this week

5. Britney (Digital Deluxe Version) by Britney Spears
this album deserves so much more love 💔 taking this as a quick promo opportunity for her song i run away. really an amazing and emotional vocal performance from britney, it's worth a listen. 6 listens for this album!

4. THE LEAD by FLO
ouh these girls are definitely leading a new generation of girlgroups. i can't wait to see what their future as musicians will look like. 7 deserved listens for FLO.

3. Perfect Velvet by Red Velvet
this one's almost a jumpscare by now 'cause i don't know how it make it so far up the list each week with 8 listens this time. this album is definitely worth all the streams though. i remember seeing a video ranking red velvet's discography talking about how they have two sound "red" and "velvet". this album is as "velvet" as it gets for red velvet. i even want to call it their best album. just a beautiful sounding album from the start to finish.

2. 28 Reasons by SEULGI
A great start for Seulgi's career as a soloist. It showcases her strength as a vocalist amazingly well and uses a style she's comfortable performing with since it has been seen in many of red velvet's song. "i kiss your brother" and i knew it was coming to slay. You get 9 listens for that one, Seulgi.

1. BORN PINK by BLACKPINK
I think this might surprise some, Blackpink at number 1 with 9 listens? I don't think i talk often about my love for Blackpink's music. Though I wish we could hear something that was created by them, they always deliver songs with a strong and confident sound. Great representation for girls and women all around the world. It makes their music uplifting but maybe not in the sense people would originally think.

I think it would be higher if it was not only released a few days ago. It is. so. addictive. "I'm not the devil" as long as you continue to sing beautifully like this, i'll believe anything you say seulgi 😍 5 listens for 28 Reasons 😋

4. LOVE DIVE by IVE
Listen, I love interpreting lyrics especially when you need multiple layers of knowledge to understand them. So let me tell you how excited I was when I learned about how this song is related to greek mythology and narcissus. It made me appreciate this gorgeous song even more. Those five listens were definitely not a waste of my time.

3. Kingdom Come by Red Velvet
Of course it's her and her seven listens again. When i was talking about jumpscare earlier, I especially meant this song. It's literally one of my favorite Red Velvet song but I just don't remember listening to it this week so how 😧

2. Not My Job by FLO
Oh, I love FLO! They're doing so great too 😌 Jimmy Kimmel performance and first award... Having been there since they were promoting Carboard Box on Tik Tok, I feel a bit emotional like a mom seeing her kids leave for college. I wish them all the best in their career. 7 listens for Not My Job and many more to come.

1. Shut Down by BLACKPINK
BLACKPINK IN YOUR AREA 🗣🗣
Seriously, that classical music sample is the best thing they could've added to Shut Down. The lyrics, vocals and rap make them looks strong, confident and independent but the sample manage to also bring elegance and maturity to the song. A perfect mix really. Love this song and that's why I gave it 9 listens this week!
