When it comes to meeting new people. My dog is all “bark bark I’ll kill you if you come within my field of vision” and my cats all “yes pet me more”. I prefer my cats approach. When we have guests we have to shut my dog in her bedroom and it’s inconvenient and she probably doesn’t like it all too much. But the alternative is have her potentially try to bite them which is also not the greatest idea.

yeah, most people i know who have dogs have had to keep them locked up in a room when they've invited a bunch of guests - oftentimes because you also have those people who are dead scared of dogs in general. your doggo being a german shepherd doesn't surprise me, given what you've said about her behaviour with strangers,,, though many people i know have had to lock even beagles up

i'd love to meet your cats though <3
