My takeaway from last night's American Song Contest (1 Viewer)

As I posted last night, there's an American version of Eurovision now, and last night was its premiere! Last night, they had artists from Minnesota, Arkansas, Oklahoma (our very own AleXa!), Indiana, Puerto Rico, Connecticut, Iowa, Wyoming, and three more I'm blanking on at the top of my head.

I think AleXa will definitely be advancing, as well as Kelsey Lamb from Arkansas, because they both blew their performances out of the fracking park! Minnesota, Iowa, and Connecticut (Michael Bolton was pretty good for an old geezer lol) were also favorable, but I'm not holding high hopes for them because they weren't as good as the first two mentioned. Puerto Rico was fun to listen to and watch, but I wouldn't exactly call it a hit record. But what even was Indiana's performance??? I think that one was the worst of the night.

What did y'all think, if anybody here besides Winter watched it? lol (@WinterFlower you can comment, too - I was just hoping we weren't the only two)

Also have you seen how far ahead AleXa is in likes on YouTube in comparrison to the other artists for the night?

I don’t know if any of this will air in the UK, but as somebody who regards Eurovision as a highlight in my year, what was the general vibe of the songs?
