i mean, with context it just seems random... but our teachers also often use this if we don't follow their instructions/listen to them etc etc.. they often repeat what they say in hindi lmaoo, like "if you didn't understand my instructions in english, i'll repeat in hindi!" (for effect, that is, not because the students in my school are better at hindi than english. in fact i'd say it's the opposite here, given that nearly all the students come from a very privileged background. not much of a difference though)
