first and foremost, a shoutout to everyone who has posted on my previous surgery threads:

idk how many of y'all remember, but I posted about an upcoming throat surgery a couple times on her. it's to widen my esophagus. this is my first real surgery in over 20 years, so I'm kinda nervous, espcially about the fact that they'll be working so close to my airways. they are going to intubate me while they do it, but still. what if I wake up and can't breathe right?

A friend of mine has to get these throat stretching surgeries regularly. So I get that it's scary, but it's probably been done by your surgeon tons of times. They'll have lots of people watching to make sure you're safe throughout the whole process, even if you only meet one or two people part of the surgery team. (Reminders I have to give to myself every time I've had surgery, ah~)

Hoping for everything to go perfectly smoothly for you.

I hope it all goes smoothly. I get being nervous, I was before my surgery too. But as @centen said, there are a lot of people involved who have probably done this many many times and have a lot of experience with it. Good luck!

It it is only natural to feel nervous about the surgery. I'm wishing all good thoughts for it go well and you have professionals there to get you the best treatment

I will! I'll either post an update as soon as the anesthesia wears off or maybe while I'm still loopy idk lol I'm leaning towards the latter just so I can vget laughs... or not... I might slip and give a falsehood like Seonghwa isn't straight or something lol (dw girls, he is - this was just an example of things I might say)
