I don’t see a scenario where they don’t win 🥇 I unfortunately won’t be able to watch any of it live so I will be watching after work

I don’t usually pick a winner, but this year might be that time. And I think they definitely have an advantage now that Linda is actually able to play the violin live (I am head-over-heels for a good violin instrumental).

No ESC for me this year. Too much politics. If I would watch ESC, my top 3 would be:

1. Australia: Delta Goodrem - Eclipse (an easy decision, I'm a fan of Delta anyway)



2. Romania: Alexandra Căpitănescu - Choke Me (there's nothing wrong with a good modern Metal song)



3. Sweden: Felicia - My System (she was sick during this performance, hence her 'weaker' voice).

Editing things out just causes chaos. And at some point members stop talking to you because they think you will delete the message anyway. There's nothing wrong with an own opinion and - as long as you don't violate the forum rules - you can write anything here. But be sure that other members will express their opinions.

My opinion: Eurovision should be a music festival without any political influences. Banning artists never ended wars. On the other hand, the idea of Eurovision is a music festival where all European nations are (musically) united in peace. Unfortunately reality doesn't work that way and I doubt there can be a world without wars. Not yet.

If you think Israel should participate, you're right. If other members think Israel shouldnt, they're right too. IMHO there's no right or wrong answer here.

No need to apologize! I assume the comments were related to my choice to omit Israel from my list? I purposely omitted them because some users don’t like their inclusion while others are okay with talking about it. I assumed the omission would avoid conflict. Personally I judge the entries based on the songs themselves and I can’t lie - I really like the song Michelle. In my original ranking, I had it at 10th… if you were curious.
