NCT Universe
May 30, 2023

I couldn't get the site to work for me for the past two days but now it's good and we're back in action!

A (mostly) daily round-up of everything happening in the NCT Universe.
What's included: tour news, appearances, cfs, performances, news.
What's not included: IG updates unless there's something highly pertinent, merch drops unless something highly pertinent like a new CF.

Cross-Unit (including Rookies):

• I suppose you could argue it's SuperM related, which falls in the purview here in the NCT Universe IMO, but the big Chen, Baekhyun, Xiumin news will definitely have ripples in Neo City. We know Neo contracts are coming up and there are suspicions about the shitshow of 2 Baddies/Ay-Yo tied into those extensions/negotiations (esp around not reporting the sales numbers), plus the dgaf attitude we've noticed in the Neos in their lives. Story here from @ManduBun
• Also is this why SungTaro were moved: to get additional years of contractual obligation, similar to Kun, Winwin and Ten, who originally debuted in NCT, then it's assumed had to sign new longer contracts when they debuted in WayV.
• SM Rookies graduated

NCT Dream:

• NEW CF: Teddy Island (NO Eng subs)

• NEW PHOTOSHOOT: More CHenle and Jaemin for Arena Homme

NCT 127:

• NEW CF: Doyoung for Dolce & Gabbana
• Doyoung will have a special stage with Justin Horowitz on K909 on June 3.

WayV:

• NEW PHOTOSHOOT: More Ten pix for GQ Thailand

• NEW CLIPS: More MC Xiaojun with KARD

• NEW CLIPS: more Diamonds Only Challenge in Hong Kong
•

NCT DoJaeJung:

• DoJaeJung was in Thailand for a fan meeting ahead of the 127 concert, then went to Jakarta for another one two days later.
• NEW CONTENT: fanmeet (no eng subs but some cute video of them doing singing and doing the yes yes that's me dance and singing a cappella)

Biggest Hit on This Stage (Charts, Awards, Milestones):

• Weekly Circle Charts
  • Digital: #50 Candy #95 Dojaejung
  • Albums: #27 Perfume - 4,327
  • Streaming: #45 Candy, #84 Perfume
  • Downloads: #186 Candy, #199 Beautiful Day
  • BGM: #183 Doyoung - Beautiful Day
  • Singing Room: #100 Candy
  • Global Kpop #48 Perfume, #67 Candy
  • Social: #47 NCT Dream

  • ay-Yo is on Week 12
  • Top Album Sales: #75
  • Top Current album sales: 347
  • Hot Trending Songs: #15 Taeyong Shalala, #20 NCT U - Universe (Let's Play Ball)

• Taeyong has passed 45K preorders on ktown4u.
• Daily Melon charts: #59 Candy, Perfume is out of the chart
• ROAD TO 100M 🏃‍♂️ no songs above 90M right now

Neo's Got My Fact:
DYK Taeyong has the second most writing credits in NCT? (Mark is first!) He also has credits on every song on his solo.

A pretty quiet day in N City.
