On June 26, SM Entertainment released the following official statement:

Hello.
This is an announcement for fans regarding the 2020 Mid-Year Special of KBS “Music Bank” on June 26.
Member Taeyong will not be appearing on today’s broadcast due to health reasons.
We ask for the understanding of fans who were anticipating a performance with all members, and we’ll work for him to greet you again as quickly as possible.
Thank you.

The June 26 special broadcast of “Music Bank” will feature performances from NCT 127, NCT Dream, NU’EST, Baek A Yeon, Oh My Girl, SEVENTEEN, DIA, TWICE, Weki Meki, Golden Child, Stray Kids, (G)I-DLE, ATEEZ, IZ*ONE, TXT, CRAVITY, and more.

It's his first time ever missing a performance which worries me. I'm wondering if the hate hes been receiving played a role this time. Hopefully he'll feel better though, he's dealt with back pain for a long time which I'm guessing is the reason.

Yeah he’s been dealing with some neck and back pain too, and an absolutely packed schedule of course and now all this which is worrying. First time missing any performance, but if it lets him rest and recover then it’s good I guess.
Hopefully his back doesn’t hurt again from carrying the industry on his back
