NCTzens Trend Hashtags and Accuse SM of Sinophobia (1 Viewer)

NCTzens have had with SME's treatment of NCT, particularly the China line.
Initially started by WinWins lack of lines, screentime, it's only gotten worse since he revealed he isn't allowed to sing or dance without the company approval and was incredibly limited in what he was allowed to talk about. To add fuel to the fire, NCTzens feel WayV is being underutilized and underpromoted by SM.

The final straw was happened during a Vlive. Renjun was interrupted by his manager mid-sentence just because he mentioned WinWin. SM removed to video from Vlive and re-uploaded with said incident.

Considering this isn't SM's first time being called sinophobic and abusive to Chinese members, what do you think?
Is SM counting down til it's next lawsuit?

To me it seems like it's male Chinese members specifically SM has a history with so might not be sinophobic exactly but it's pretty weird.

...I hate Winwin stans.

I agree SM needs to treat their artists better, but somehow EVERYBODY is just focusing on Winwin. All of their chinese idols are treated like shit, but those bitches only care because Winwin is popular! Kun got dealt shit for years and did anybody make a peep?

Winwin is a god damn member of a variety show, sure he needs to be treated better but in no way should he be treated as the sole icon of SM mistreatment.

Sorry this is so extreme from me, but this has been going on for so long and these people are making the right points I just really god damn dislike the reason they are doing it.

SM is honestly pissing me off of how they’re handling Chinese members, especially WayV and Renjun.
Specifically for Renjun, they’ve been treating him HORRIBLY ever since debut and I’m sick of it.
Sadly, this even isn’t the first incident of the staff and SM being rude to Renjun

Renjun vacationed on Jeju Island and vlogged it but we only got to see 30 secs of it on a Vlive he was talking to his members about the vacation and showing fans pictures but the staff completely shut him down

~~he even did the same little “okay” like he did in the recent vlive I’m-~~

I don’t know what the heck SM has against their Chinese idols, but if they keep this up, they’re gonna have another lawsuit on their hands

Kun is treated way worse than winwin tho... and other korean members just as bad as him i barely hear Johnny in any of NCT songs either I don't think it's a race isuess... ridclous

But yeah Shit management Aka SM needs to treat all their artists fairly...

this has happened to Taeyong and Jaehyun too some staff told them to shut it down 👇

I mean call in it racist is pretty damn stupid if they were racist they wouldn't debut Chinese idols in the first place

The Chinese market is more profitable than the Korean market. The main reason companies debut Japanese and Chinese idols is to increase popularity for the group in those specific markets.

Blackpink has SEA thanks to Lisa
EXO and Suju owe a lot to their Chinese members
Twice has Japan thanks to the Jline
Even if a company has ethnocentric ideals, they're still gonna debut foreign idols to make money because it's just smart

The racism comes into play when these idols are treating unfairly, paid less and overworked, which SM has a history of doing.

Then why would they be racist and ruin their market idgi your statement is so ironic... SM and JYP would never do anything to piss off Chinese/Japanese people... A lot of Korean idols are treated like utter shit too so what SM is being racist to Korean people too??? SM will push any idol who they think has potential to milk and make profit out of.. Lucas is literally everywhere these days and he is Chinese....

SM really doesn't care about Chinese opinion
The whole reason that WayV is managed by an SM sublabel and not directly SM isn't because of THAAD, it's because Chinese are pissed off at them after the EXO-M situation. There's a reason it's called WayV and not NCTV
Yeah, SM treats all their idols like trash but I think it's pretty tell that FOUR Chinese idols have sued in the last 10 years claiming discrimination, unfair pay and abuse primarily because they were Chinese
It's not to say that Korean idols don't have bad, it's to say Chinese idols have it worse

Former Chinese SM idols and trainees have come forward about issues of employees in general at SM being quite racist towards them.
It's one thing to be harsh and to try to milk and profit off of someone.
It's another thing to make an environment, say things and do actions that push others down because you think that due to them being Chinese they're not equal to Koreans. Not just that but openly stating its because their Chinese.

Somewhere on the internet there's an interview about what a former EXO or former SuJu member when through as a trainee and the hardships-one or a few of which describing what I stated.

And racists will, can and have made money off of the ethnic groups that they were racist towards. That hadn't stopped anyone before and it won't stop anyone now. If anything when a group is showing harsher treatment towards someone or requiring them to pay more/do more work/etc than the others it kinda just shows what their views are.
