TW: Mention of Rape





So I have a bit of a controversial fanfic that I've worked on for a couple of years.

I am making the move to have some of my fanfics work on both Tumblr and AFF. However, today on tumblr a whole discussion on rape came up and putting it in fanfiction. it became kind of a big argument and everything and while my story does not contain rape it does mention rape a couple of times though it won't really happen. Also, a lot of the sex scenes within the story do not have verbal consent but it's implied and I'm nervous about that being turned into rape when it isn't. But it could be argued to be rape because of the power dynamic between the main girl and the idol group.

Spoiler: Spoiler for story a bit gory

If anything rape is not condoned in the story despite the power dynamic and lack of verbal consent because the main girl's rapist gets gutted, tortured, and murdered and thrown into a river for what he did by the people who "own" the main girl.

I am nervous about possibly posting this story on Tumblr for everything possibly being misconstrued so I was hoping to get some feedback and tell me if I should just keep it on AFF or feel free to also post it on Tumblr.

You would probably be good if you simply included some trigger warnings. Sometimes I see people including bit of creator notes in the first explaining that there is some mentions of rape, but it doesn't happen in story itself and that there is implied consent in the sex scenes. Including those themes in general should be okay, but usually people want trigger warnings.
