Just as long as you don’t start saying sexual things which I doubt you would it’s completely fine in my opinion. I feel like people over exaggerate a lot of things in kpop… and this just happens to be one of them.

Personally kpop is about the music for me as well, but objectively speaking, visuals are a dominant part of kpop. There’s a member role dedicated to it. Even among fans visual battles are common. Am I saying that this is the way it should be? No. But what I am saying is that it is that way. And calling someone beautiful isn’t a big deal. Whats the issue is pinning people up against one another visually (which thankfully OP did not do)

I absolutely hate the idea of beauty pageants. They’re basically torture physically and mentally. But why does society still endorse them? And tbh because you’re a man, they’re more likely to call youba creep whereas if it was a woman it would be played off as a mother figure giving a compliment. Its like older men (idk your age so I’m just making an assumption you’re older than me) can’t compliment someone without being labeled as a creep or unfortunately eventually worse.
