Hidden in the shadows of the modern world, there exist associations and organizations of people known as the “Awakened” — those who possess superhuman abilities.
High schooler Jiwoo Seo knows nothing of this world, living in fear while hiding his own mysterious power.
Then one day, after he nurses an injured stray cat back to health, Jiwoo's world is turned upside down.
"Let go of me already, you fool!!"
The battered stray cat — which should never have been able to talk — suddenly speaks?!
The stray cat turns out to be Kayden, the strongest of the Awakened, transformed by mysterious means.
Unable to return to his human form, Kayden begins living with Jiwoo...
Jiwoo, who never felt he could become anything, and Kayden, the solitary, unrivaled Awakened, are soon drawn into the organizations and conspiracies of the Awakened world.
Led by a cat. Bound for greatness.
Can the two of them change the world—?
