Welcome to my reaction to (G)I-DLE's new album. Share your thought and opinions as well! I'm curious although I know many of you don't like the title track.


Nxde

Okay so when I read other kps users their opinions about this song I was really worried cuz it was mostly negative. But I was worried for nothing. I LOVE it! The song is amazing, the concept is amazing, the outfits are amazing. I really like the violin drop in the chorus. And Soyeon's raps in this song are so good too, so much better than in Tomboy! SHUHUA REALLY ATE THIS COMEBACK. She's giving sexy vibes this cb and I love it. I really like her voice and she's so stunning and I'm just so glad she finally gets more lines. Of course it goes without saying that all of them shined and slayed
Al though I must say, I think this concept had a lot more potential. I would've at least made the MV completely with the 1920s/burlesque concept and kept the modern things out. (I really loved Soyeon's outfit with her second rap tho.) And I didn't really like the sudden end of the song just like with their song Hwaa. It just feels so empty. I would have changed that too but overall I still love the song! I give it an 8/10 (for a title track). Just the song I'd give it a 9/10 if that makes sense.


LOVE

I really LOVE this song. It's just a cute love song basically. It's a vibe. The line distribution is also really fair here which I am totally here for. And I think this song really showcases the vocals. I give it an 9/10.


Change


Okay if I didn't LOVE the song LOVE already, this song is even better!! It's such a feel good song. And the vocals in this song are so amazing. I really LOVE the way they sing here and the melody. I give it an 10/10! Best song of the album (so far). It's not really a title track type of song, but I like it better than the title track.


Reset


I LOVE this song as well! It's so good. Especially the last part of the song where the guitar comes in. And I feel like Miyeon's main vocalist position really shows here. I give it an 8/10!

Sculpture


I LOVE this song too, but I think the least of them all (so far). What I really LOVE about this song are the instrumentals and the chorus. But I'm not really digging the post chorus with "your sculpture" x3. Maybe after a few listens. (okay I listened a few more times, it's better now lol) I give it an 8/10!

DARK (X-file)

I LOVE it. It sounds a bit mysterious. And I really think this song was for Miyeon!! Her vocals were perfect for this one. Soyeon's rap was awesome too. The only thing I don't like about this song, is that it is so short.. cmon now only 2:45 . I give it an 8/10.





I haven't really mentioned Yuqi or Minnie, but they are awesome and slayed this cb as well. I really LOVE their voices!

I've tried getting into (G)I-IDLE before, but they're music wasn't doing much for me. I'm going to attempt to re-listen to there entire discography again and maybe I'll have a change of heart.

Im so glad you like their cb I love it. And I hope you’ll like more of their past stuff too when you listen to it again! Especially when Soojin was still in the group
