'Night Mist' Senior Singer Hyun Mi Dies . . . He was 85 years old

Singer Hyun Mi (real name Kim Myung-sun) passed away on the morning of the 4th. He was 85 years old.
According to the police, Kim Mo, the president of the fan club, found Hyun Mi lying dead at her home in Yongsan-gu, Seoul at around 9:37 a.m. that day and called the police. Hyun Mi was taken to a nearby hospital but was pronounced dead.
Born in Pyongyang in 1938, he began his career in the entertainment industry in 1957 through the stage of the Eighth Army. At first, he went on stage as a dancer, but one day he became a singer by singing with the bats of another singer. He was famous for being a musical and human partner with the late Lee Bong-jo, a composer and saxophonist who recognized his talent early on.
"Night Mist", released in 1962, is the signature song of the deceased. Lee Bong-jo adapted the song by Nat King Cole. The deceased, who received great love for this song, established herself as a diva in the music industry with a series of hits such as "The Face I Want to See," "When I Leave," "I Loved It," and "All My Love."
In <The K Legend: Singer Hyun Mi's She's Still Singing> which aired on Arirang TV earlier this year, music critic Kim Hak-sun said, "I would say that a diva is a singer who sings with such a rich voice, and Hyun Mi was the first artist in the Korean pop music industry to fit such a role." Music critic Im Jin-mo said, "The fact that we still have a living witness of the noble, precious, and meaningful culture of the 1960s is a matter of pride and pride."
The deceased breathed in contemporary Korean history, including the Japanese Colonial Period, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War, and offered comfort through song. He himself was a separated family. For more than 20 years, he has been conducting "Brown Rice's Power Singing Class" at the cultural center of a department store, where he has met the public face-to-face.
The exact cause of death of the deceased has not yet been determined, but police believe there are no circumstances of the killing. He and Lee Bong-jo had sons, Lee Young-gon and Young-jun. Lee Young-gon once worked as a singer under the stage name "Goni". Binso will be laid to rest at the funeral home of Chung-Ang University Hospital in Seoul.
