I am not planning to get the Switch 2 any time soon to be honest. I just got a PS5 just six months ago and I already feel statisfy with my Switch Lite that I had since 2020.

Got my Switch 2 today and after setting it up I went on Pokemon Scarlet and it does feel much more fluid playing it than it did before as well as looking cleaner overall

To each their own, but it's cheaper than the most recent Xbox and PS consoles, and both of those have been out for ages. TBH, I think it's weird that people think a console coming out 8 years later would be priced the same. The original Nintendo Switch, in 2017, cost $299 which is the equivalent of $394 in today's money. Which makes the Switch 2 only $50 more expensive for a more powerful console with more features.

For me the console price just doesn't justify the graphics and the choice of games but as you said, to each their own
