The song is slightly different from what I expected but that chorus tho. I think they will atleast win a few times with this comeback too since I think this is way better than Heavy Serenade was.

They deserve so much more, but this really feels rushed by Squ4d/JYPe inbetween tours. It's as I feared just in a huge big hangar and some random foreigners who also for some reason get solo shots eventho this is an NMIXX MV. I do feel among many other fans very lore deprived. I love the little touch of Lily who was painting the wall which seems to also look like the same horses seen in their moving poster concept video. And Yoona is afraid of heights and they let her again stand on a metal platform and sit on the edge of it....makes you wonder if JYPe really cares for it's artists.

I really like it too and the choreo looks nice, composition wise it's right up my alley and I think Yoona's low note is the killing part.

I sorta get some of the criticism and for me it's the celebration part in the chorus, we're a bit saturated with celebrations and they hit different. If you include the B-sides though the album is super varied. I think Heavy Serenade was Nmixx's best album to date with Blue Valentine being their best TT so it was always going to be hard to top the last two comebacks but overall Strange Muse is really good.

I would rate Birthday Wish as my 3rd, 4th or 5th favorite title track which is not bad, but it's going to take a few more listens to know for sure!

That happened to me the moment they had released a tiny bit of Birthday Wish. That chorus was instantly stuck in my head, and it had been a very long time since any song of anyone had been stuck in my head like that.

I think with this EP they got a very good team that worked on the album, and then the fact 3 songs are all duo songs which each member took part in writing makes it even better. The growth the members went through since debut days especially with Jiwoo I hear it more and more. There was a part in Whip where I swore I heard Lily but it was Jiwoo. Bae is also a member that finally seems to be recognized and has her unique voice utilized more then during their debut days. I have nothing but compliments for this EP I would dare to say it's one of their best for sure.
