I think with Blue Valentine I was more harsh as soon it was released. It took me quite a bit of listens to really start to love it. But trailers don't show a lot which is why I never judge harshly before release anymore. I just know for me personally not a single comeback this year will be able to top ILLIT their "It's Me". They are literally the new rivals of NMIXX as NewJeans was before, because on my playlist both NewJeans and NMIXX were always head to head when it came to who I played the most.

Having different tastes isn't a bad thing~ I hope people on here never feel bad for liking a song when someone else doesn't like it as much, at the end of the day it's all about what the fans themselves love and like.
I normally also had a different taste like things I liked in Kpop, but I feel since around last year around when Blue Valentine would be released, I started to be into this dance like music in Kpop. Like Blackpink their "Jump". Which is why I really loved "Reality hurts" by NMIXX a lot along with "Podium". Then this year ILLIT their "It's me" is such a peak song to me it literally ticked all my boxes of what I currently love in a Kpop song. Le Sserafim their "Celebration" is my second favorite song of the year. I also really loved Chaeyeon her "No tears on the dancefloor"
