They should have debuted there 2 years ago already. I read back in 2024 that they were popular and had a lot of people interested in them. They were even in top 5 Korean acts that Japan loved. Lol....shows again there isn't much brainpower behind JYPe and Squ4d. The fact Japan is also second biggest music industry or atleast was last time I checked.

Saw this coming a mile away but there were times I wondered if they'd skip Japan altogether on accounts of the focus on South America.

I might have prefered if they stuck with that to prevent overworking and due to Japanese content not being very accessible outside of Japan anyway, but I wish them all the best. 💜

I was just thinking this. Like, considering how many Japanese promotions TWICE got, it's kind of surprising that they're only just now pushing NMIXX.

It's sad tbh. I think NMIXX is one of the only artists of JYPe that took so long to debut in Japan. I feel like they don't have any marketing agents who keeps up with trends like that poll I said. I think their theme of Young Dumb Stupid would have done well in Japan along with Cool. After so long I just hope the interest is still high there for the girls their sake.

to be fair, they have no japanese members unlike Twice, so it makes sense to some extent
