New MV NMIXX(엔믹스) “Reality Hurts” Track Video (1 Viewer)

And 3rd MV shot in LA. I left a comment on it saying how lazy their team is. It is/was my instant favorite of the album and they just recycled some more backwater LA footage for it. This song has Sci Fi screaming all over it and they even shot part of it in bright daylight lol...

The MV should have been shot in a greenroom, the members in Aurora as Monopole attacks them with his fleet, they literally sing of planets and move mountains, Sullyoon her line "It's getting so hot, harder to breath" would have been perfect to have her in a steamy dark area of the ship that was hit and losing pressure by the attack flashing red lights, so they need to flee Aurora. Bae in some kind futuristic fighter jet fighting back as her line comes with with the distorted voice...but alas this is what we got. JYPe needs to hire me for ideas.

Well they are technically made of money, since they had to spend money on the outfits and roadblocks to film this lazy stuff, but I don't get the reason for even giving us this half arsed stuff when all it is is Blue Valentine MV v2 and v3. Nmixx deserves talented people backing them up, not some half arsed lazy team who recycles their overhyped "omg it is LA" times 3.

They put all that work into creating their ship Aurora, someone put all their time into modeling that ship with small details. It will probably never be used again. I find this a missed oppertunity to make "Know about me" link with "Reality hurts" and the return of Monopole their enemy of their lore.

The money was already spent: This was something they did between main shooting for Blue Valentine. The cost outside of editing is practically zero.

From what I've seen, JYPE groups get a budget for an entire comeback, so they get the same amount of money whether they make multiple videos or just one. So if they wanted to do a proper video for Reality Hurts, then the budgets for Blue Valentine and Spinnin On It would have to have been shrunk accordingly. This is just my assumption based on things like Itzy's Born To Be era (lots of videos, all cheap). I suppose we an argue whether this is right or wrong, but, ultimately, I don't think it's the Nmixx team lacking creativity, it's just that within the confines of their budget, this was the best they could do.

I don't think it's even a bad idea. These multiple MVs for unpromoted B sides are essentially gifts for the fans; you rarely see one take off and cause a new drive in album sales. MVs are a marketing tool, if they make money, it's nice, but not expected.

And with that mentality we will get fed useless slob that looks like crap. Nothing was special about Blue Valentine MV wise not a single thing. They actually stole Bae and Lily their scene from Angele and Dua Lipa their MV together years ago. I don't call this a gift for their fans. If they want to do that then do it properly with NEW stuff. This was all pre recorded junk of LA might aswel add it to their Vlogs on youtube to show it. Adore U didn't even have the members mouthing the words or anything. But yeah I am the bad guy for wanting something proper instead of these low energy and quality crap. The only thing Nmixx has gotten is quality in music, all other stuff is down the shtter.
