This is getting out of control. But we need to have a lesson on the word underrated. The definition of underrated is:

underestimate the extent, value, or importance of (someone or something).
In short something that is at good value or importance that is thought to be smaller.

So I was scrolling through instagram today and saw a comment saying

'You should stan Twice, They are hella underrated.'

That comment made me take a pause. The person's reasoning for Twice being underrated was

'They ain't the most famous like globally tho like blackpink'

Bro they did not just say that because Twice aren't the most famous girl group in the west. BUT knows that they have some of the best album sales and are very popular in asia in general. They are underrated.

It’s also because some Kpop stans have a strange idea about what success is. According to some, Twice, EXO, Seventeen, BTS, Blackpink and Red Velvet are flops. Meanwhile they are all rolling in cash.
