When someone makes a video to rant about how stupid someone is and claims that something the other person said was dumb. But in reality what the other person said is correct and the ranter is the one that was wrong

You're absolutely right. I see that way too much on YouTube. Little do they know, the real solution is to say that everything is your fault and claim responsibility for everything. That way, if the other person says you're at fault, they're just agreeing with you. In order to disagree with you, they'd have to praise you at least to some extent if that makes sense.

It’s especially great when they’re making a blanket statement like “Americans are so dumb” the topic of this video. But then get it wrong themselves. It’s just an extra face palm in that case
