Very rarely do nugu groups hit it huge. They can eventually gain moderate success of course. Nugu groups are nugu for a reason. Whether it be peoples stubbornness to only check out popular groups or groups only from the Big4 yes Big4 privilege exists. Or whether it be poor production/music/promotions, or even simply being from a lesser known company in comparison to a bigger company (whether it be Big4 or a well established company like Cube or Starship)

It’s a sad reality.. tbh Nugu music is on par witn non Nugu groups imo but usually people refuse to see that and prefer to use statistics as a way of measuring musical quality when that isn’t a very accurate way to measure it

Completely agree. Nugu groups create some really good music generally, sometimes even better than popular groups. But a lot of people, as you pointed out, use stats to determine whats good an whats not. If only people would open their eyes… or ears

It can be a lot of fun rooting for the underdogs, as their success doesn’t come for granted, it feels all the much sweeter when it does finally come their way. I recommend every kpop fan stans at least 1 nugu group. Although it can be disheartening if your favs never get the recognition you think they deserve.

ngl i like listening to nugu groups but sometimes I feel like it's hard for me to stan groups when they don't have a lot of appearances on variety shows :/ So I guess I am usually more of a passive supporter than an active stan tbh

Yeah thats why I stan talent and not go by popularity. I’m always hoping more people can follow PIXY, CRAXY, Rocket Punch, woo!ah! etc. but whatchu gonna do.
