News Nugu news: XUM (formerly Neonpunch) have disbanded (1 Viewer)

Darkseid · 1 June 2021

The original Neonpunch lineup had 5 members, 1 of which was replaced by another for their 1st comeback.
Then, after a long hiatus, Neonpunch disbanded, and only 3 members were put into new group XUM which came back with a girl crush concept.

Sadly it seems they have disbanded again and the company will debut a new group instead.

Announcing disbandment via Youtube community tab is as nugu as it gets

I'll miss them, they had only 3 titles but all bops:

Sadly, the girls got into a racism/colorism scandal shortly after XUM debuted, so it was practically doomed from the beginning.

True I've never seen such a low effort disbandment announcement before

And Idk how I feel about a new group, they couldn't even have budget to sustain a 5 member (later a 3 member group) and now they're expecting to actually manage a new group

Another new group? ANS flashbacks

Hope it turns out well for the new girls tho q.q

Not gonna lie, but I'm not particularly sorry due to the racism/colorism scandal. Did they release something after that? I don't remember.

Nah that was the only song iirc, the scandal was pretty bad even stans couldn't defend it but I hoped it wouldn't be the last song from them.
