Honestly , this is strategy. To protect himself, BigBang and YG. I'm sure after his military service BigBang comes back as 5 members (when he is innocent). There are so many celebrities who stepped down in the middle of a big scandal and came back after few years.

I’m losing all hope they will even have a comeback before Coachella. YG seems to be delaying everything while this scandal is going on and that could take months to resolve, even years depending on how it develops. I just want bp out of that company full of trash men that hate women!

It gets even more depressing with each passing day with no news for a supposed comeback this month when it's almost at the halfway mark for the month :hmm: I've given up hope expecting anything anymore since it just leads to pain and disappointment

On the other hand, some positive news. Lisa just went past 16M followers on Instagram (16,018,878 as of this post) which is just behind Blackpink's official account. She did it in only 268 days too

]There are times that I would support my bias. But this time isn't one of them.

As a human with values and a father of 4 daughters I am against the exploitation and sexual crimes against women. My UB could be involved in this mess or a similar scandal and I wouldn't hesitate to cancel them. If I could disown a family member, then I wouldn't have any issues with not supporting my K Pop bias.

Yeah. I'm kind of throwing in the towel. For THE GIRLS' sake, they better hope that YG's only real crime is tax evasion. But otherwise, I don't know anymore.

The ONLY solution I can see is to release the MV/mini very quietly. No Korean show promo. Maybe even the week before Coachella. Who cares about the release pattern? Just drop a few online teasers, that's it. Then send the girls off to the US. It's the most bloodless way to go about it, while still releasing music (and you know, not scamming the concertgoers with the same effing setlist.)
