OK I HAVE SOME THOUGHTS RN ABOUT THE ENTIRE KRYSTIAN SITUATION.
I was definitely wrong about it being a Ricky & Krystian vs Kamden situation. I thought that it was Ricky and Krystian speaking over and excluding Kamden constantly in the initial episode but apparently it was probably just Krystian with Ricky just receiving a slightly unfavorable edit whether intentional or not. It is evident that that exclusion that I was worried Kamden was going to experience never came to fruition luckily.
An evil edit can only do so much and in order to do an evil edit you have to give them material to work with and boy did Krystian supply the material to make one. I know some people like him in this thread which is fine but he came off as a complete self-absorbed entitled brat this episode. You can see how tense and irritated everyone in the group was interacting with him. During the dance coach's evaluation where he told them that Krystian wasn't doing a good job the way he responded was peculiar as he wasn't showing any signs of negative emotions. When the team brought it up he acted as if it was a personal attack against himself and tried to manipulate their emotions into keeping him as the killing part despite knowing that no one thought he was the best fit for the part anymore. After his part being re-assigned he then proceeded to consistently try to create more time in the spotlight for himself while fucking up the group's choreography. Then he argued with Kamden about how to set up their performance despite lacking any awareness that all the suggestions he was making were interrupting the group from organizing those very suggestions that he had that were already being implemented. He came off as brat this episode as he seemed to think that everyone should follow his vision for how he wanted the group to perform to highlight himself for his own self interests. You can claim evil editing which happens in reality shows but as I said you have to give them the material to give them the ability to evil edit you and even if those were Mnet's ideas about how he should act he would have made a choice to portray himself like that.
