Yeah, I honestly agree with you. If you can read hangul, it's a big advantage to keep up with the names. But even then there are some guys who they just show performing but don't even give a rank, pretty annoying, and then there are some guys who they spend a lot of time on and rank as well. I know they can't make it fair for everyone but sometimes they do this to ridicule the guys who get X, I swear. Like that creepy smiling guy. If he got X, you shouldn't give him as much screen time, it just makes me pity him.

Yes they are sacrificing "readability" for entertainment or what they see as entertainment. Lot of korean shows sadly do that, they cut scorings and turns etc. in games and so on in order to give certain joke or person more time on screen. That kinda of trade-off just easily leaves viewer very confused by what is going on. Like what if I was really interested of this certain idol and his score, but they cut that off and I would just be wondering when it's coming, where it is, going through stream going to look for the spot he received it and so on, actually happened me with last ep there was one good performance but I don't think they scored it so I was so confused. Like I get that you have to cut things, but for my enjoyment sacrificing readability just makes it really hard to follow at times I have to pay extra attention to everything is going on.

I can't even tell if this is evil editing or not but I also find it cruel how they keep showing someone off (like in that Jellyfish trainee's case and then he gets X), and the guy next to him does a lot better, but gets less screen time because he's not a visual. I am not interested in the visuals if you have nothing to offer, this is a survival show based on skills and talent, not based on whose face looks the best, of course you can have both but I don't think it's that important. I bet several of these trainees who didn't have their ranks shown might have even ranked A or B and we'll never know.

I even thought how gorgeous Yohan is but now he bores me. They have too typical flower boy visuals for me.

I like visuals who don't look perfect all the time. Like Seongwu. He's ridiculous despite being visual. And thanks to him I got so many memes that I use on Discord. xD

They showed them but they didn't get good ranks. I think they were snubbed a lot because they couldn't do that JYP vs YG storyline

and instead that went to UP10TION and Victon boys.
