I heard that in S2 they only got 1-2h of sleep at night like an idol would so it must be about the same :/

S3 was the most competitive season. S1 was never like that and the girls would constantly support each other as many girls did not have companies or were too “old” to debut.

I think the show was competitive because of the Korean trainees. It could have been because they thought the Japanese trainees had nothing to lose if they didn’t win (but many were low ranked in AKB48 or trainees)

Ah, that makes sense. It's so weird that they're so competitive but in the end, it doesn't even matter if you did well in team or get a lot of screen time, because it doesn't mean people will vote for you, but it's not like they think about it, they hope for the best. :l
