Wouldn’t doubt it. The contract is much longer than previous seasons and right now kpop companies are debuting 2000 liners and younger. However, the foreign trainees might be a curve ball as they do not have to serve in the military.

Yeah might be another reason they are trying to push some foreign trainees. Though seeing that Ziyue got such high votes I'm curious why Mnet focused on him instead. A few of the highest votes have gotten some screen time in the first few episodes. I figured their wins have something to do with that screen time. Don't know about Hyunbin though...mnet may just not like him lol

Yup, I think some are in their twenties and at least that guy who trained with Soyou is bit older. I'm 92 though so even 96 is younger guy in my books xd

I did a little research and it seems like Ziyue was on a Chinese survival show before Produce. He probably has a solid fan base that will be strong when the vote # changes to 1 and 2 pick.

But it looks like Mnet lost the battle to Hyunbin lol. Knetz really like him and criticized the evil editing.
