so its obvious alot of people from other countries are xeniphobic to America (im not saying everyone partakes in it) i find it strange tho that is normalized so from ppl outside of the US have yall seen it first hand and why is it ppl hate us?

I personally hate the way they use different systems of measuring , it's too complicated to convert.
On people depends, there are asses in every country, i will hate you if u are ignorant and rude any ethnicity or country you come from.

Otherwise idk, ppl do hate trump cuz he is aligning with Putin kinda, and tbh me from Romania kinda scared we gonna get kicked in our rear ends ...

Please, note that it's not my opinion, but things I heard from other people.

I have met people who had the following problems with "Americans".

1. Americans think they are better than anyone else
2. They act like they are the saviors of the world, but instead of it, they cause more problems worldwide
3. They stick their nose into businesses they have nothing to do with; including participation in wars, or events happening in other countries or on other continents
4. They are uneducated compared to other nations/ they know so little about the world outside of the US / they don't care about the world outside of the US

I feel like most of these are based on political issues.

Personally, as a Canadian, definitely not a fan of the current government. He is literally speaking of putting tariffs on our country that will destroy our economy. Additionally he is speaking of annexing our country and making it the 51st state. I’m quite proud to be Canadian and don’t want to be a citizen of another country not by choice.

As for the American population, the Americans I have met have all been wonderful people. And the times I have visited have been great. I may question why anyone would vote that man, not once but twice, into government, but nobody deserves to be hated for their country of origin.

I hope all this makes sense, I lowkey rambled. TLDR: hate the government not the people

It seems even German media thought that Trump is some type of clown and most people that voted for him in 2016 were underprivileged white village idiots. I guess nothing could be further from the truth. Germans always wanted the 'good guys' in the White House: Barack Obama, Joe Biden - and now Kamala Harris (even better would be Michelle Obama) as the new boss.

Americans who voted for Trump had similar reasons as Germans who voted for the AfD: worries and fears. And the hope that an extremely political group can help where well-established parties obviously failed. I didn't vote for the AfD but I understand why people voted for them. And many of their supporters aren't racists and/or village idiots.

Terms like that are kind of complicated. Additionally, everyone has biases that can make it hard to view everything 100% objectively, including Americans and non Americans, so certain terms may not apply to them for any reasons ranging from they just never really considered it, to thinking that it doesn’t apply because of xyz justification.

A lot of American democrats have the same view of Trump supporters. And sure, some of his supporters are in that group, but plenty aren’t, and the ones that are are still voting based on their experience and beliefs. I personally can disagree with those beliefs, but to think that they’re all mindless sheep with no pulse or brains is no more correct or incorrect for democrats or republicans. People like that exist sure, but on both sides.
