Korean or Japanese, any genre, any status, any generation, any popularity/lack of

To get a sense of my taste, I'm into: Loona, Dreamcatcher, PassCode, Fairies, Nine Muses, KARA, S.E.S., Sonamoo, AOA, Spica, Ladies' Code, Brave Girls, BEG, E-Girls, 3YE, Rolling Quartz

Soloists are fine. I know: AleXa, Ailee, BoA, Chungha, Lee Hi, Eyedi, Rothy

Please do not recommend cute groups. It's fine if they happen to have cute songs, but if the literal concept of the group itself is cute/ageyo/kawaii/etc. keep it in your purse.

Do recommend groups that dance their ass off; choreo's my favorite aspect.

Don't bother recommending the following; I'm either checking them out right now, or I already gave them a chance: CLC, Mamamoo, Sistar, GFriend, Lovelyz, 48/46 groups, Berry Good, Bestie, EXID

It seems I'm into groups that don't last long so if you can tell if a group's gonna disband be sure to recommend them jk but it's been happening so

Thank you thank you in advance :sanapray:

You should check out APRIL. Not their older stuff but their newer content.

A lot of their more recent releases aren't cute but feel more ethereal and fantastical with a bit of innocence.

most of the nature discography is cute, but girls was nice
aurora (not in this cb) has a huskier voice which I love

bvndit is really nice, they're a well-rounded group with deeper voices

aseul (formerly yukari) is an indie soloist I like

eyedi and yukika have similar sounds, not sure if you're entirely into it though

edit: purplekiss maybe?

Here comes my recommendations. My first one would always be PassCode; but you already know them, so here it comes,

If you haven't already heard of Fiestar you might like them, also they disband so... :wimwim:
Yezi is solo now though, so at least we have that..

(ik this mv is kinda cute, but the songs always given me B.E.G Kill Bill vibes so thats why I'm dropping it lol)

Since you like groups who can dance their ass off, Itzy would be right up your alley:

Please don't look at how long it took for me to respond. I discover new music pretty slowly. I really appreciate the recs, y'all :pandalove:

Thanks I liked them all. I really enjoyed Lalalilala :bigcatclap:

Oh, I only knew Sugar Free. But I liked these alot, thanks :maheart:

Girls is pretty good.
Wow, I love the BVNDIT songs.
I went ahead and checked out Sandcastles by Aseul, and I'm gonna check out more.
I already know Eyedi, but I love the sound of Yukika. I see the similarities. I've heard Purplekiss too but totally forgot about them. Thank you :sanapray:

Thanks, I really love the instrumental

So I heard one Neo EP before, and I'll check out more. I like Spica.
I liked the Kolokol song and When You 2 Want.
I really, really enjoyed the ones after Kolokol (is it Shingeki? it's what it says in the channel name)
And I love the sound of the last one. Thank you.

I remember once upon a time I wanted to get into Fiestar. I've actually heard these too but a few years ago. Thanks for recommending!

Yes, it's Shingeki. Then comes Zenbukiminoseida; and finally, Kaqriyoterror.

I liked the Kolokol song and When You 2 Want.
That song is from Zenbukiminoseida.

EDIT: I knew you didn't want cute groups; but I suggested Zenbukiminoseida even though it's cute because it's an alt-idol group doing what has been called (if I'm not mistaken) yama-kawaii, translated more or less as sickly cute. Zenbukiminoseida is a cute group with a good measure of madness in it. I though you'd find it interesting.
