i told my teacher i turned in my essay to help pick up my grade and this is what he answered with.....he never mentioned this.....now that i'm looking back at his message he put online, he did say this, but i never looked at it that closely bc he told us this himself during class so i never really took the time to read this message. he should've told everybody abt it during class so i would've known

working on finishing this essay caused me to fall into so much stress and panic.....i wouldn't have had that happened if he had just said that when he announced it to the class

Aww, I hate lack of communication from teachers. My AP Spanish teacher this year...I love him but he waited until the last 3 days before school ended to grade our stuff from the entire quarter. I get that he's busy and everything but he didn't even tell us what was going on and my grade was suffering the entire semester and I wasn't sure if I had to take the final since he didn't put all of our grades in.

omg that's awful T^T i've had a teacher like that and students would constantly complain to him bc their parents were getting mad at their kids bc of their grades being so low even though they turned their assignments in

Yeah, it's pretty bad. I mean, teachers are human too and they have stuff going on but I think communication is better than anything and also a estimated time on when they would have it in. Even better if this is conveyed through email directly to parents. It would at least save those with strict parents (me) an argument about getting my grades up.

yea, i know that they have their own lives and i respect that, but still, if they're not going to be able to put in grades until later and they know that kids grades would suffer bc of it with their parents, at least send out a mass email to parents letting them know that their students have turned in assignments but they can't put in grades until a later time
