I guess I'm glad you like them but AI groups like that will only harm the entire music industry; idols and fans alike. We need to love humans, not computer generated characters. Think about the very real girls who lend their voices to those characters? Shouldn't they be the ones you love, don't they deserve to be the ones on stage?

Why would I miss good songs, just because the Idols are virtual? Do you also refuse to watch animated movies for the same reason?

Why would it harm the industry? Virtual artists are popular for a long time now
Look at Vocoaloid, for example. It’s super popular in Japan, but it doesn’t mean music performed by actual humans are going to die
It's just something 'new' that are now getting attention in the Kpop industry, but it won’t replace real Idols

i guess when it comes to music i just prefer songs by real people to songs by virtual idols the same way certain people prefer rock music to pop music, it's all a matter of preference. i think it's just how similar they look to real people that puts me off a bit, i don't get this weird feeling when i watch cartoons.
